Long-distance pricing depends on the volume of your shipment, the distance, the time of year, and any specialty items or accessorial services (piano, art, packing, long carry, shuttle, stairs, etc.).

Your binding written estimate locks in the price for the conditions we surveyed. Fuel surcharge, packing, stairs, and any other accessorial we identified are already on the estimate.
The only time the price adjusts at delivery is if conditions on move day differ from what was disclosed at the survey. For example: extra rooms or items added after the estimate, an undisclosed third-floor walk-up, a destination that requires a shuttle because the truck physically can’t reach it, or a long carry that wasn’t part of the original survey.
Even then, we use the same accessorial rates we already disclosed in writing. Never invented numbers. Never delivery extortion. That is the difference between a real licensed carrier and a broker.
Our payment schedule is built so you never have to pay everything upfront:
• 35% at booking reserves your truck, crew, and move date
• Half of the remaining balance at pickup
• Half of the remaining balance at delivery
For comparison: brokers commonly demand 50–80% upfront before you’ve even seen a real truck or signed a binding estimate. That’s the actual red flag. Not a deposit itself, but a deposit so large you have no leverage if something goes wrong.
For standard long-distance shipments, exact delivery dates depend on the route, load consolidation, and your destination. So we don’t pin you to a specific calendar day on standard service.
If you need a committed delivery date, two premium options are available:
• Expedited Delivery. Your shipment moves on a priority schedule, with a firm delivery date locked in writing.
• Exclusive Use of Truck. The truck carries only your shipment, no consolidation, with a committed pickup-to-delivery timeline.
